Shaw Corner Cemetery, Franklin, is a very old cemetery that was originally in the eastern part of Salisbury from 1768 until 1828, when Franklin became an incorporated town. There are quite a few unreadable stones. Several early Salisbury residents are now technically buried within the borders of the City of Franklin. We do have a copy of the Hammond List from 1930 listing all those buried in Shaw Corner Cemetery, contact@salisburyhistoricalsociety.org
Hammond’s book lists the Shaw’s Corner Cemetery because it was once in Salisbury, before becoming part of Franklin.
