The Salisbury Historical Society Scholarship
The 2026 scholarship committee is now reviewing applications from graduating high school seniors in Salisbury, NH. All eligible students living in Salisbury—whether they attend public, private, religious, or homeschool programs—are invited to apply for the Salisbury Historical Society Higher Education Scholarship. Applicants must also plan to attend an accredited college in the fall of 2026 and complete 10 hours of volunteer service with the Salisbury Historical Society, as required by Salisbury Community Service.
Completed applications included the following:
- Your Name
- Your Address
- Your Email Address
- Your Telephone Number
- Your Parents’ Contact Information
- Three letters of recommendation, which can come from a teacher, coach, guidance counselor, clergyman, or employer, but not from family members.
- A copy of your high school transcript, including your grade point average.
- A copy of your SAT scores.
- A list of your extracurricular activities, such as community service, achievements, sports, after-school programs, and volunteering.
- A double-spaced essay of at least 500 words describing a historical figure from New Hampshire whose qualities you admire, and explain how some of those qualities could help you achieve your future goals.
- Deadline to Submit: March 31st, 2026
