The Salisbury Historical Map Viewer, hosted on the ArcGIS Online platform, provides convenient access to its extensive geodatabase of historic features on computers, tablets, and mobile devices. Despite the exciting progress made, there are still many photographs of existing and lost buildings to be incorporated, as well as a significant number of unidentified cellar holes to be researched.

How to use this viewer: Place your cursor on the map and drag to move, or use the +/- controls or scroll to zoom in. Click on an icon to discover its history. Green icons denote “extant” features, which are still present. The brown icon denotes “ruins” features; you may not find even a cellar hole at some of these locations.
