The best access is via Route 4, turning onto Center Road (also known as New Road) toward Bog Road. Bog Road is unmarked, aside from the Class VI sign. It is dirt, seasonally passable, and well-maintained. It is located just before Searles Hill Road on the right side of the road when coming from Route 4. The cemetery is a beautiful, secluded area with open access.
According to John Dearborn, The History of Salisbury: the land was donated by John Calef, son of William and grandson of the first William. Like other cemeteries, it was fenced with rocks by families who were buried there. The first person buried was John Taylor, who died on May 1, 1826.

The list is a compilation of data from the study of tombstones by Priscilla Hammond in 1933.
